Founded in 2002, Schréder is a multinational Belgian lighting company operating across five continents. BESCHRÉDER BURSARY PROGRAM – COVERED FIELDS
A bursary program for the 2023 academic year is being offered by BEKA Schréder.
Students will be eligible to receive bursaries for the following disciplines (at the undergraduate level only):
- Accounting
- Engineering
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Logistics
- Marketing
- Supply Chain
EXPENSES COVERED, RENEWAL, AND OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BEKA SCHRÉDER BURSARY PROGRAM
- In the maximum amount of R75, 000, the bursary will cover tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, and meals.
- A student’s bursary will last for one year, and students will need to reapply for funding each year based on their academic performance.
- Vacation work or practical training will be available to students every year.

BACHELOR’S BURSH ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- It is mandatory for applicants to meet the following minimum entry requirements in order for their application to be considered (failing to meet all the requirements will result in your application not being considered):
- Citizenship of South Africa is required
- Matric completion or current Matric enrollment is required
- To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program in one of the following fields
- A Department of Education-accredited institution must be your place of study or where you intend to study Higher Education (DHET)

Your application form must include clear copies of the following supporting documentation (no missing documentation will lead to your application being disqualified):
- Document of identification (certified copy)
- A certified copy of your latest matric results, if you are currently enrolled in matriculation
- Certified copy of the Matric certificate, if completed
- An acceptance letter from an accredited tertiary institution (on the institution’s letterhead) An income statement of the family (parents’ payslips if employed, latest audited financial statements or affidavits if self-employed, affidavits if unemployed, proof of grants or pensions)
