In the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering requires a Lecturer.
LECTURER VACANCIES Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering
- Expertise in Engineering Graphics, with an emphasis on mechanical engineering.
- Maintain an innovative approach to teaching and learning in the classroom.
- Responsibilities include development of the new curriculum for the Higher Certificate in Engineering as well as administrative tasks related to teaching and learning.
- Provide quality study guides, practical manuals, subject files and other materials related to TLT.
- Engage in faculty/department community service and research projects.
- Organize industry visits, meetings, and practical training sessions in coordination with industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR LECTURER
- Academic qualifications:
- Graduated with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience:
- Teaching at the tertiary level for three years.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the industry.
- Ability to present and communicate effectively.
- A computer literate individual.
- Registration with professional body (if applicable):
- It will be beneficial to register with ECSA as a professional.
