A bursary from Pernod Ricard is available for 2023
Bursary applications are being accepted for the upcoming school year by Pernod Ricard. Towards addressing South Africa’s skill shortage, a R7m bursary program has been launched. For students from disadvantaged backgrounds, the bursary will help them complete degree courses.
Full-time undergraduate students will be eligible to apply for the bursary, with special preference given to students pursuing engineering, technology, finance, and legal degrees. A keen interest is also expressed in applicants pursuing degrees in fields such as internal auditing, commercial finance, quality control, corporate legal (in-house), senior trader, engineering project director, tax consultants, or compliance officers.
In the long run, South Africa’s growth will be assisted by channeling the youth’s energies and investing in their development, according to the Human Resources director for Sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa. South African youth will benefit from the bursary as it will enable them to develop the critical skills required to further their country’s and business’s growth.
