REQUIREMENTS for National Prosecuting Authority:
You must possess a B-degree (NQF level 7) or an Advanced Diploma (NQF level 7)/B-Tech qualification in Policing, Law, Forensics, Data, Physics, Engineers, or equivalent. Having experience with forensic investigations or criminal investigations for the past three (3) years. Identify and demonstrate competency in being independent, professional, accountable and credible. Data analysis knowledge pertaining to criminal investigations legislation and regulations.

At least one year’s experience testifying in a regional court on criminal matters. Managed and directed forensic services providers in criminal and forensic cases. Skills related to general management. Capabilities and leadership in strategic planning. Empowerment and management of people. Setting priorities and planning. An active driver’s license.
DUTIES:
Providing expert services related to data analysis and research through strategic planning and implementation. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders in criminal investigations. Ensure that data analysis is conducted in accordance with the investigator’s responsibilities to support criminal investigations. Analyze and present data in court and/or at hearings, including providing expert testimony.

In the event that an application is submitted using a form Z83 that is incorrect, it will be disqualified. The application must have been signed and dated by the applicant, and must be accompanied by a detailed CV only (with full details about the applicant’s qualifications, experience, and skills). Certified copies of qualifications and other related documents must be submitted by the shortlisted candidates on or before the interview date, and they should not be older than six months. Applications will be disqualified if they do not comply with the above instructions.

Each form Z83 (as well as the documentation listed above) must be submitted separately by an applicant applying for more than one post. The applicant must withdraw his or her application in writing.
