Road users are advised to take alternative routes while the protest is underway on campus.
Early today, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) students began a protest action on the Emalahleni Campus to express their concerns regarding issues affecting the university’s progress.

Student concerns include accommodation fees being capped, transportation issues, and modules being phased out of courses.
It is left to the students to complete two modules on a course that is already phasing out on campus,” said the student.
Some of the roads around the campus are affected by the protest, so motorists are advised to take alternative routes.
