The Department of Adelaide Tambo School of Nursing Science seeks to appoint a Lecturer. This is a permanent position based at the Pretoria Campus.

The Department of Adelaide Tambo School of Nursing Science Seeks to Appoint a Lecturer
- Facilitate teaching and learning in Nursing Theory and Practice (Theory and Practical), Nursing Ethos and Professional Practice and Education and Management in Nursing.
- Prepare and develop learning and assessment materials
- Conduct authentic assessment of students in clinical practice
- Assist with application and selection processes of prospective first year students
- Act as first year guardian and coordinate all induction and orientation processes related to first year students
- Participate in departmental research activities and supervision
- Participate in curriculum development and revision
- Participate in community engagement activities
- Perform administrative tasks related to key performance areas and serve on School and Faculty committees
Minimum Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Nursing (NQF Level 9)
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse, as well as registration in Nursing education and as an Assessor and Moderator
- Studying toward a Doctorate degree will be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in nursing practice
- Experience in teaching and learning and research in nursing would be an advantage
- Hold a valid driver’s license
