University communities and beyond can share commercialization information and resources through the Inventors Forum. Among other topics, they discuss non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), intellectual property, patents, licensing, start-ups, and many more through this series.

Furthermore, the platform supports and promotes start-up companies emerging from universities, where investors and innovators can meet and share their innovation knowledge, success stories, and funding models.

Funders are increasingly requiring researchers and inventors to conduct research with demonstrable impact, as noted by renowned inventors at the event.

Researchers, patent applicants, and innovators from TUT were also recognized and honoured at the event, as the university was awarded patent certificates from the National Intellectual Property Management Office (NIPMO).
