We help students with their scheduled examinations. June and November are the two major examination months. A supplementary examination and a deferred examination are also described. Throughout the University, exams are held on different campuses and venues.
The Directorate of Co-operative Education
In order to enhance learning, the Directorate of Cooperative Education (DCE) collaborates with universities, industry, commerce, and government to enhance work-integrated learning, graduate recruitment and employability, as well as work integrated learning. Student development is influenced by all of these areas.
WIL is an interdisciplinary learning approach that combines theory and practice within an authentic workplace context (workplace based learning) or non-workplace context (non-workplace based learning). As well as supporting the development of a range of skills that will make the qualifying student employable, it addresses specific competencies associated with the attainment of a qualification, which is therefore linked to the acquisition of credits. This section emphasizes recruitment and employment of recent graduates and those who are in the process of receiving a degree or diploma. Recruiting students and connecting them with employers is part of what we do. As well as connecting students, we also encourage their knowledge of job application skills. In addition, students gain knowledge and skills that improve their chances of gaining employment and success in their chosen profession, resulting in more successful graduates for the economy, the workforce, and the community.
