The Department of People Management and Developmental the Faculty of Management Sciences has a permanent position for Lecturer at the Pretoria campus.

Critical Performance Areas
- Presenting and conducting Lecturer at undergraduate and post graduate levels.
- Assessing students at undergraduate and post graduate levels;
- Setting and marking of all assessments.
- Teaching and learning with Technology, including administration of study materials and assessments.
- Be responsible for administrative tasks related to teaching and learning in the department of People Management and Development
- Organize Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums;
- Day to day management of teaching programmes,
- Involvement in any teaching and learning activity as may be reasonably assigned to him/her by the Head of Department.
- Participate in the development of study guides and new curricula in line with HEQF structures.
- Involvement in department or individual community projects.
- Present evening/Saturday classes as required and as part of the normal workload.
- Participating in departmental, subject and industry liaison meetings.
- Participating in other university committees as maybe assigned to him/her by the Department.
- General administration such as capturing test and assignment marks, uploading documents on myTUTor.
- Student consultation.
Minimum Requirements
Academic qualification
A relevant Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in Human Resource management/ or M.Com/M.Admin in Industrial Psychology
Experience
- Three (3)years ‘lecturing/research experience in a higher education institution will be required and/or industry – related experience
- Three years lecturing/ research experience in Human Resources Management
Knowledge and skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and other computer programs
- Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
- Completion of a TUT License to Teach programme will be compulsory.
- Advanced presentation skills
- Proved ability in using teaching technology and lecturing on TUT platform
Registration with relevant professional body is recommended, if not registered with professional body, will be required to register within 6 months of accepting the offer
