Critical Performance Areas
- Provision of a comprehensive, promotive, preventative, curative and rehabilitative primary healthcare service to students.
- Offer on-going educational training and development talks and seminars to students.
- Patient record keeping
- Assist the Health and Wellness staff to promote various health campaigns and projects.
- Assist Health and Wellness staff to disseminate information.
- Assist in compiling a standard operating procedure manual.
- Offer emergency services to staff and students.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the Health and Wellness programme.
- Provision of HIV, Counselling and testing and treatment.
- Engage in community outreach projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Three- yearNursing qualification NQF level 6 Nursing qualification with a minimum of 360 credits.
- Three – year relevant experience in primary health care and HIV Services
- Certificate in Dispensing
- Certificate in HIV Management
Knowledge and skills
- Basic life support.
- Knowledge of clinical practice
- Community Nursing
- Knowledge of Health and Wellness Environment.
- Knowledge of national and international HIV & AIDS Frameworks
