TUT Online Application For Teaching 2023
- Qualification code: ADTV20 – NQF Level 7 (140 credits)
Admission requirements
You’ll need either a national N diploma (at NQF Level 6) from a TVET college, an appropriate undergraduate diploma, or a bachelor’s degree in order to qualify for this position.
If you want to become a lecturer at a TUT, you’ll need to have studied a particular technical or vocational subject in depth. This means that you’ll need to have gained a deep understanding of the underpinning disciplinary knowledge in your chosen field, and that you’ll have studied this knowledge at the most advanced level.
Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching
- Qualification code: BPFN20 – NQF Level 7 (486 credits)
Admission requirements:
To get your Senior Certificate with a matriculation endorsement, you’ll need to have a C symbol at Higher Grade or a B symbol at Standard Grade in your first language, and at least a D symbol at Higher Grade or a C symbol at Standard Grade for English (second language). For Mathematics, you’ll need at least a D symbol at Higher Grade or a C symbol at Standard Grade.
Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching
- Qualification code: BPIS20 – NQF Level 7 (486 credits)
Admission requirements:
You will need a National Senior Certificate with a matriculation endorsement or an equivalent qualification to apply, with a pass of at least a D symbol at Higher Grade or a C symbol at Standard Grade for English and at least a D symbol at Higher Grade or a C symbol at Standard Grade for Mathematics. As well as this, you will need a combination of any two of the following: Biology and Physical Science or History and Geography. TUT Courses for Teaching 2023
