TUT Part-Time ISFAP Project Coordinator Faculty of Science
Critical Performance Areas
- Oversee all the theoretical and practical teaching and learning activities of the ISFAP grant awardees.
- Participate in managing the budgeting of ISFAP/ Thuthuka project funding.
- Identify and manage educational and psychosocial barriers and enablers for ISFAP grant awardees and refer to the relevant directorate for support of the students.
- Participate in the development of study material.
- Monitor and evaluate achievement of project objectives.
- Compile reports for the ISFAP project.
- Participate in Relevant committees and meetings regarding student academic matters.
- Liaise with industry and other instotutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Two (2) years clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in facilitating teaching and learning in a Higher Education Institution.
Registration with professional body
- Registration as a professional nurse and midwife with the South African Nursing Council.
Other Requirements
- Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license for a manual vehicle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package.
- Knowledge of TUT’s policies and systeme related to teaching and learning, funding management and student development and support.
