TUT Part Time Position Teaching Assistant

The Faculty of Science at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics requires services of a Part Time Teaching Assistant at the Pretoria Campus.

Key performance areas

  • Prepare and Conducting Lectures.
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Proven ability in using Teaching Technology.
  • Marking of assessments and related administrative work.

TUT Full-Time Study Postgraduate Scholarships 2023

  • Participating in Departmental meeting and subject meeting.
  • General administration such as capturing test and assignment marks, uploading documents on myTUTor.
  • Student consultation on demand.

Academic Qualifications

  • Honours Degree in Mathematics (Pure or Applied)
  • Academic record with Major Subjects
  • At least Three (3) years’ teaching experience at a tertiary institution will be required.
  • Proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
  • Doing Mathematics studies at a master’s level would be considered an added advantage.
