As a full-time doctoral student specializing in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Thermodynamics, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Energy Storage, Radebe stood out for presenting the most outstanding thesis among final-year students across various universities in South Africa.

Radebe’s groundbreaking research project involved the invention of a new phase change thermal storage unit, utilizing nanoparticles to enhance cold chain applications. This innovation holds significant promise for advancing the capabilities of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
