A postgraduate diploma and masters in data science programme are now being offered by the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science majors should apply for the BSc M-stream degree (BSM), and can enroll at either the Pietermaritzburg or Westville campus.

Applications for undergraduate study
- The Central Applications Office must be contacted by first-time applicants for undergraduate qualifications.

It is important to note that this is a general degree program, and the specific Data Science major will be chosen only at registration next year.

An advanced diploma in data science and a master’s degree in data science are available at our school. Postgraduate applications at UKZN must be submitted online.

Please note that, if you are applying to the PGD in Data Science, you will be provided with a template towards the end of the year that will be used to evaluate your industry experience.
