DEADLINE: Varying
University of the Free State Presidential Youth Employment Initiative Internship Program
Internship programmes are intended to give unemployed university graduates (diploma/degree) with no relevant work experience a chance to gain work-related experience. A component of the Presidential Employment Stimulus (PES), this opportunity seeks to mitigate the devastating economic challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic by the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI)-Higher Education Employment Initiative (HEEI).
These enriching opportunities are open to young people aged 18 to 35, who are currently unemployed, not enrolled in full-time studies, or receiving any form of government grant (including NSFAS), young people living with disabilities, and women. Fees owed to the university can also be repaid by applicants under a debt repayment agreement. You can only apply for this opportunity if you are a South African citizen or permanent resident.
We would like to point out that only online applications are accepted through the UFS vacancy website: https://ufs.hua.hrsmart.com/hr/ats/JobSearch/viewAll. No applications will be accepted through any other platform.
